2008 Jay Vidovich Soccer Camp Dates Announced

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest University men's soccer coach Jay Vidovich has announced the dates for the program's 2008 summer camps.

The camps will take place at Demon Deacons' own Spry Stadium, which is widely recognized as one of the best soccer facilities in the country.

"Campers will be taught the technical and tactical foundations of the game and participate in activities that will foster a passion for the world's most popular game," Vidovich said.

Camp Information

Spring Break Camp • March 31-April 3, 2008 • Boys and Girls 5-14 • $125
Spring Break Camp is filled with fun and a great way to spend Spring Break. This camp runs Monday-Thursday, 9 am - noon. Spring Break Camp focuses on soccer technique and tactical aspects of the game. Throughout the week, each player will work on forming good soccer habits and learning new skills.

Day Camp • June 16th-June 20th, 2008 • Boys and Girls 5-14 • $225
Day Camp is an action packed week filled with fun. This camp runs Monday-Thursday, 9 am-4 pm and Friday, 9am - noon. Day Camp focuses on soccer technique and tactical aspects of the game. Throughout the week each player will work on forming good soccer habits and learning new skills.

Residential Camp• June 22nd-June 26th, 2008 • Boys 10-18 • $520
Residential campers participate in three training sessions per day. Morning sessions consist of technical training; afternoon sessions cover tactical aspects of the game and incorporate small-sided competition. The day concludes with an evening session of 11 v. 11 competitive matches. Each day of camp will have a different educational session: strength and conditioning, college recruiting and collegiate academic demands are just some of the topics addressed.

Evening Camp • July 28th-31st, 2008 • Boys and Girls 5-13 • $100
Evening Camp runs Monday through Thursday from 6 pm - 8 pm. Evening Camp is the perfect way to get a top soccer education during the coolest part of the day. The emphasis during the camp will be the basics in technical and tactical training and fun. Evening Camp is a tremendous introduction to the game for younger players. Each player will receive a Wake Forest camp soccer ball.
