WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The 19th-ranked Wake Forest women's tennis team will look for a pair of Texas-sized wins as they head to the Lone Star State this weekend to face No. 4 Baylor and No. 32 Texas A&M.

The Demon Deacons are 3-2 in 2008 and 1-2 against teams in the ITA's Top 25. Last weekend the Deacs split matches, falling 4-3 to Notre Dame on Friday and defeating Indiana 4-3 on Saturday.

In singles, WFU sophomore Sasha Kulikova remains undefeated at No.2, posting a 5-0 record since the season opener against William & Mary on January 26. Junior Sierra Poske has only dropped one match this season, bringing her singles record to 4-1 at No. 4.

In doubles, the Deacons have taken two of five doubles points, led by Poske/Kulikova who have a 3-0 mark for the year at Nos. 1 and 2, followed by seniors Jenna Loeb and Alex Hirsch who are 2-0 at No. 2.

The 32nd-ranked Texas A&M Aggies are 5-3 this season and are led by sophomore South Africa native Elzé Potgieter at No. 1 singles. Last weekend, the Aggies finished 1-2 in a three-match series at the UNLV, taking a win over UNLV (4-3) but falling to Florida International (4-3) and Fresno State (2-5). The Aggie/Deac match-up is set for 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 1.

No. 4 Baylor is 7-1, but will host Fresno State on Friday afternoon before facing the Demon Deacons on Sunday at 12 p.m. ET. The Bears have four athletes ranked in the ITA Top 40, including 18th-ranked sophomore Lenka Broosova who is 8-0 this season at Nos. 2 and 3.
