Baseball
The WSU baseball team lost three games to No. 22 Arizona over the weekend. The Wildcats got the winning run in the 12th inning in the first game to win 7-6. Arizona also came from behind to win the second game (6-5) and the third game Matt Way struck out a career-high nine batters in the first game.

Jim Murphy hit his 10th home run of the season in the second game.

The Cougars are 19-18 overall and 3-9 in the Pacific-10 Conference.

Men's Golf
The WSU men's golf team tied for second at the Ping Cougar Classic. WSU had a three-round total of 858, 6-under par.

WSU was one of four schools in the 14-team field to finish under par.
Nick Ellis and Austin Hurt tied for second, both with 6-under par 210 performances.
Xavier Dailly tied for 39th with a total score of 220.

Rowing
The No. 5 WSU rowing team competed at the Stanford Invitational. The Cougars won 11 of 12 races.

Tennis
The No. 42 WSU tennis team upset No. 34 Washington 4-3. The Cougars are 16-9 overall and 2-6 in the Pac-10.

No. 52 Ekaterina Burduli upset No. 30 Venise Chan 6-1, 7-6(3).
Ekaterina Kamendova earned her 20th victory of the season.
Bianca Selaru clinched the team win for WSU with a 6-1, 7-5 victory at No. 5 singles.

Track and Field
The WSU track and field teams competed at the Mt. San Antonio College (SAC) Relays. The men's team, currently ranked 18th in the nation, was selected as the men's team of the meet.

Trent Arrivey won the men's high jump with a leap of 7-0 1/2.
Jeshua Anderson was the top collegiate finisher in the men's 400m hurdles.
McKenzie Garberg was runner-up in the women's hammer throw.
