The 2008 WCU Invitational has been delayed due to inclement weather at the Catamount Athletic Complex. Thunderstorms passing through the area have pushed back the start of the men's hammer and the women's javelin events, now scheduled to start at approximately 10:30 a.m. The Long Jump events for both the men and the women have also been pushed back, with a new approximate starting time of 11:30 a.m. At this time, all other events are still on their original schedule for start. Check back to CatamountSports.com for continuous updates concerning any weather-related delays or cancellations.
