Cullowhee, N.C. - Steady afternoon rain with forecasts for additional inclement weather through the evening have prompted officials at Western Carolina to postpone Thursday night's game one of its regular season finale against the College of Charleston.

The two teams will play a double-header on Friday starting at 2:00 pm at Childress Field/Hennon Stadium. Game two will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of game two.

The three-game Southern Conference series finale is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday afternoon. Western will honor its four seniors - Jason Haynes, Blake Murphy, Tyler Sexton and Barrett Shaft - in a special pre-game ceremony prior to Saturday's first pitch.
