Cullowhee, N.C. - Catamount Football fans can check this page throughout the day on National Signing Day -- Wednesday, February 6, 2008 -- to keep track of student-athletes signing National Letters of Intent to Western Carolina as a part of first-year head coach Dennis Wagner's first signing class.
Fans can also hear more about National Signing Day with WCU recruiting coordinator, Andy Follett, during "In the Litterbox," a weekly interactive sports talk show on WWCU-FM tonight. Western Carolina Football Signs 17 on National Signing Day
Catamounts sign seven in-state products, four junior college transfers
Cullowhee, N.C. - First-year head coach Dennis Wagner today announced the signing of 17 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent as a part of his first recruiting class at Western Carolina.
Wagner inked seven products from the state of North Carolina. The 10 out-of-state commitments were headlined by five from the state of Georgia, with two from California and one apiece from Florida, Maryland and Ohio.
