Western Carolina Women's Tennis Falls to Charlotte 7-0

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Western Carolina women's tennis (0-2) dropped its dual match to Charlotte (2-2) 7-0 Sunday.

Charlotte opened the match by sweeping the doubles point winning at all three positions. Western Carolina's Amanda Massey was the only Catamount to take a 49er to three sets before falling 2-6, 3-6, 1-0 (11-9) against Charlotte's Kimber Redfern.

Western Carolina hosts its first home match of the season Friday when the Catamounts welcome Kennesaw State at 3 p.m.
