Reminder: Eighth Annual Phoenix-Packers Steak Fry Set for Tuesday

GREEN BAY, Wis. - For the eighth consecutive year, the Green Bay Athletics Department and the Green Bay Packers will be holding the annual Phoenix-Packers Steak Fry. The event will be take place Tuesday, April 22 at Lambeau Field in the Legends Club Room. Proceeds will benefit Green Bay student-athlete scholarships.

Over the past seven years, the proceeds from this event have yielded more than $330,000 in support of student-athlete scholarships. Last year's steak fry raised more than $56,000.

Tickets cost $85 ($60 is tax deductible) and must be purchased in advance. Starting at 5 p.m., there will be a social hour and open bar, followed by an all-you-can-eat steak dinner at 6. The evening will conclude with a program and live auction that starts at 7.

The items up for the live bidding auction include: a week-long getaway to Orlando with a luxury condo and airfare for four included, an autographed Packers football, a weekend getaway to Door County's Glidden Lodge with golf packages, a Green Bay men's basketball road trip to Chicago, a gourmet dinner at head coach Tod Kowalczyk's home and a Packers Dream Day game package with VIP parking and pregame passes.

In addition, those in attendance will have chances to win door prizes throughout the night. A $10 raffle ticket gives fans an opportunity to win items such as Packers game tickets, a tailgate package, an authentic autographed Brett Favre jersey (framed and matted), golf equipment and authentic furrier hats.
