DAYTON, Ohio -- Wright State (13-6, 6-4) held off Green Bay (11-9, 5-5) for a 71-67 win Thursday night, thereby avenging an earlier three-point loss to the Phoenix. The clash between the two evenly matched teams featured 10 lead changes in the first half.

Each of Green Bay's last seven games has now been decided by single digits. Green Bay saw its two-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 2-8 on the road this season.

Wright State went in front for good just before halftime and then built a 15-point lead, 59-44, with 7:45 to play. However, freshman Rahmon Fletcher scored nine points over the next five minutes to help the Phoenix get to within five, 64-59, with 2:38 left.

Wright State was able to hang on with free throw shooting, which did not allow Green Bay to get the game to a one-possession contest.

Fletcher scored a game-high 18 points, while Mike Schachtner and Terry Evans each scored 16 for Green Bay. Evans matched his career-high point total for the second time in three games.

Vaughn Duggins scored 12 points and N'Gai Evans had 11 points off the bench for Wright State.

Green Bay is next in action Saturday at Detroit. Game time is set for 4:05 p.m. ET/3:05 p.m. CT.
