WHAT TO KNOW
All Time Against Wright State
Green Bay sports a 20-16 mark against Wright State dating back to the first meeting in 1987.
The Phoenix is 7-12 versus the Raiders in games played in Dayton.
Earlier this year Green Bay snapped a four-game losing skid to the Raiders with a 52-49 victory.
Recapping the First Wright State Game
Green Bay's 52 points in the victory over Wright State were the fewest in a Phoenix victory since a 45- 42 triumph over Detroit on Jan. 30, 2006.
It also was Green Bay's second-lowest winning point total in the Tod Kowalczyk era.
Green Bay held its second straight opponent under 35 percent shooting and limited its third foe of the season to 50 points or less.
The Phoenix made a 3-pointer for the 300th straight game dating back to 1997.
Ryan Tillema (17) was the only Green Bay player in double figures.
Wright State had a 3-point try at the buzzer, but it bounded off the left side of the rim.
Round Two: Ding, Ding, Ding
Thursday's game marks the second go-around for the Phoenix in Horizon League play.
Green Bay reached the midway point of the conference slate on Saturday against Youngstown State in league game No. 9.
The Phoenix already has more home wins in league play this year (4) than all of last year (3).
Coming to Our Defense
Green Bay has clamped down defensively in league games, limiting opponents to 38.5 percent shooting (195-for-506) and just 63.2 points per game.
The teams have made just 61 of 203 3-point attempts, which is 30.0 percent.
In Horizon League games, the Phoenix ranks first in defensive field goal percentage and fourth in scoring defense.
In its five league home games, Green Bay has allowed just 54.8 points per game.
The five home opponents have combined to shoot just 34.9 percent from the field (98-for-281).
Close Encounters of the Sixth Kind
Each of Green Bay's past six games has been determined by fewer than 10 points.
Green Bay is 6-1 this season in games decided by eight points or less.
The lone loss was to UWM (65-61) on Jan. 19.
Last year, the Phoenix went 3-3 in games determined by eight or less.
Maybe We Will Call it a Comeback
Green Bay is 8-1 this year when leading at the half, 1-0 when tied at the break and 2-7 when trailing at intermission.
However, the Phoenix has come back from halftime deficits in its last two games.
On Jan. 24 against Cleveland State, the Phoenix picked up its first win when down at half, as the team rallied from a 24-19 deficit to win 59-50.
Two days later, Green Bay trailed Youngstown State 33-31 at intermission before winning 66-58.
Home Away From Home
Ten of Green Bay's first 16 games were outside of Titletown.
On Saturday, the Phoenix wrapped up a season-long three-game home stand.
Green Bay also closes the regular season with three in the Resch Center Feb. 23-Mar. 1.
Beginning with Thursday's game against Wright State, five of Green Bay's next seven contests are on the road.
