The Green Bay men's tennis team (1-3) were defeated Saturday as Minnesota topped the Phoenix 7-0.
A pair of Green Bay netters forced third set tie-breakers at No. 1 and No. 6 singles. Tim Prudlow's rally fell short in a 3-6, 6-4, 10-7 match, while Eric Plaushines dropped a 3-6, 6-0, 10-8 battle.
In doubles play, Minnesota took the point but not before Matt Keesey and Matt Clegg forced a tie-breaker at No. 2 doubles before falling 9-8 (6).
Green Bay will take on Oklahoma Sunday in Minneapolis.
