Phoenix Fast Fact: In grabbing 16 steals over the last three games, junior Rachel Porath is now ranked 80th in the nation in steals per game. Against Wright State March 6, Porath set a career high in steals with seven thefts.

Scouting Green Bay: Green Bay celebrated Senior Day in grand fashion March 8, as Kayla Groh led all scorers with 23 points in Green Bay's 71-51 win over Detroit. Groh, Green Bay's lone senior, shot 10-of-13 from the field on her way to her sixth 20-point game of her career. Lavesa Glover added 19 points, including 10 of Green Bay's first 17 points of the contest, as the only other player for Green Bay in double figures. Junior Erin Templin was within range of a triple-double with a game-high 10 rebounds along with nine points and a career-best seven assists.

For the first time in team Division I history, Green Bay could have three players that reach 100 assists for the season. Senior Kayla Groh and junior Kati Harty are neck-in-neck with 97 assists through 29 games, while junior Erin Templin trails the tempo with 93 assists. Three times previous Green Bay had three players with 100 or more assists in a season, all coming prior to the team's move to Division I; 1986-87, 1984-85 and 1983-84.

Junior center Lavesa Glover shot 17-of-21 from the field against Wright State March 6, setting a team record for field goals in a game and scoring the fifth-most points in a game by an individual in team history. The junior center was 8-of-9 in the first half for 16 points, then added 14 points in the second half and four more in the extra five minutes to set a Kress Center record for scoring. Glover's total was the most since Trisha Ebel fired in 35 points against UIC during the 1999-2000 season.

Scouting Loyola: The Ramblers held strong through a late UIC rally Monday night to defeat the Flames 73-69 in overtime in the first round of the 2008 Horizon League Championship. All five starters were in double figures, led by Keisha Collins' 17 points.

Leading Loyola offensively is Maggie McCloskey, who is averaging 11.2 points per game. Collins is close behind with an 11.0 ppg clip, while Elyse VanBogaert is adding 10.5 ppg. Since losing at Green Bay 78-52 Jan. 23, Loyola has played in 11 games decided by less than 10 points.

Loyola is coached by third-year head coach Shannon Reidy, who is 19-68 for the Ramblers.
