Green Bay Falls to Campbell in Golf Dual Match

BUIES CREEK, N.C. - The Green Bay women's golf team fell to Campbell in a unique dual match on Friday. The schools played a medal match play in the morning round and competed in an alternate shot format in the afternoon event.

Campbell picked up a 7-0 victory in the 18-hole medal match and a 3-0 win in the one-round alternate shot. Green Bay completed the event with a team score of 361, while Campbell was victorious with a 291.

Allison Winter (Shawano, Wis.) fired a personal-best round of 80 in the morning to lead the Phoenix, while Ellyn Hansen (Milton, Wis.) posted an 88. Anne Mandich (De Pere, Wis.) also had a career-best mark of 91.

Madaline Selig (Green Bay, Wis.) had a 102, which included a 44 on the second nine, while Jessica Guzek (De Pere, Wis.) carded a 110 with a 51 on the back side.

Green Bay returns to action Monday and Tuesday at the Butler Spring Invitational in Avon, Ind.
