Women's Tennis Falls at IPFW 6-1



Callee Conda forced a three-set decision at No. 5 singles.

The Green Bay women's tennis team (0-2) dropped a 6-1 decision to IPFW Friday night at Pine Ridge Tennis Club.

Lauryn Grimando won her first match of the year at No. 3 singles, defeating IPFW's Sachi Janek 4-6, 6-0, 7-6.

Callee Conda also went to three sets in her singles after winning the second set 6-4, but could not hold on in falling 10-8 in the third-set tiebreaker.

Green Bay returns to action Saturday when it faces the University of Dayton in Fort Wayne, Ind. At 1 p.m.
