APPLETON, Wis. - The Green Bay women's tennis team fell 7-0 to Northern Iowa Saturday at Fox Cities Racquet Club.

Green Bay started the day with a tough battle at No. 1 doubles, with Emily Lawent and Lauryn Grimando hanging tough before a 9-7 setback. The Panthers posted victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles as well to take the first point of the match.

In singles play, Northern Iowa registered straight set wins in all six matches to earn the sweep.

Green Bay's contest with Northern Illinois, slated for Sunday at Western Racquet Club, has been postponed due to the recent tragedy in DeKalb, Ill. A makeup date has not been set.
