LAS VEGAS - The Green Bay women's tennis team came up short in a 7-0 decision against Southern Utah in a neutral court contest.

Freshman Callee Conda had the strongest showing for the Phoenix, forcing three sets at No. 5 singles. After dropping the first set 6-2, Conda rallied with a 6-3 victory in the second set. But Southern Utah's Carmen Blanco held off Conda's rally with a 6-3 final set.

Green Bay battled tough in doubles action, where Conda paired with Kari Petrashek for a 9-8 nail-biter at No. 3 doubles.

Green Bay will be back in action Tuesday against Colorado State for a 10 a.m. start.
