Bohler Opens Milwaukee's Weekend At Drake Relays
DES MOINES, Iowa (April 24, 2008) - Senior Justin Bohler of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's track and field team placed ninth in the decathlon at the Drake Relays to kick off the team's competition at the meet Thursday. Bohler scored 6,741 points in competition that spanned Wednesday and Thursday for his top-10 finish. His first day's performance was highlighted by a time of 11.0 in the 100m, netting him 808 points. Then, Thursday, Bohler ran 14.7 in the 110m hurdles, scoring 857 points in that event alone. The Drake Relays continue Friday and finish up Saturday. Milwaukee will also have athletes competing at the Janvrin Open in nearby Indianola, Iowa, and the Marquette Invitational, across town in Milwaukee, on Saturday.
