UWM plays at Wright State, IUPUI

Feb. 21, 2008

MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team will look to get back on the winning track when it heads to the road for a pair of matches this weekend.

The Panthers will square off with Horizon League foe Wright State Saturday before taking on IUPUI Sunday.

Milwaukee (5-6) has dropped three in a row, with its losses coming this past weekend to Northern Iowa, Butler and Marquette. But, Kari Kastenholz has five wins playing at #3 singles while Jenna Felsher has a 5-1 mark in the #6 slot.

Wright State has dropped all three of its matches this spring. In fact, the Raiders have dropped 16 of their 18 singles matches and all nine doubles contests in their three outings this year. WSU will face Lipscomb and Eastern Kentucky prior to their match with the Panthers this weekend.

IUPUI went 3-1 this fall before dropping its first five dual matches this spring. Shelby Gnepper is 3-1 at #1 singles this season. The Jaguars will also face Toledo and Grand Valley State this weekend.
