April 25, 2008

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Sophomore Kelly Drvaric of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team has earned a spot on the All-Horizon League Second Team.

The full list of postseason award-winners was announced at the annual championship banquet Friday night in Indianapolis.

Drvaric also claimed second-team all-league honors last season and is now the first Panther since 1998 to collect all-league recognition more than once.

The Waukesha native has won 15 total singles matches, including nine at #1 singles. She also shared the team-lead with four league singles wins, all coming in the top spot. In doubles play, Drvaric has 18 overall wins, including four in regular season league play.

Drvaric and the Panthers beat Wright State in the first round of the league championships Friday afternoon and will face Detroit in a second round match Saturday morning.
