Women First, Men Second After Day One of Horizon League Swimming Championships



Nathan Demchuk finished first in the 1000 free

Results

The Wright State women are in first while the men are in second after the opening day of Horizon League Championships Wednesday at the Busbey Natatorium in Cleveland.

First-place finishers for the Raiders were Nathan Demchuk in the 1000 free (9:18.59) and the women's 200 free relay team of Vicky Tafur, Kelsey Cooper, Kassie Schmidt and Mabel Fernandez, who set new Horizon League and pool records with a time of 1:34.86

The meet continues through Saturday.
