Jherica Williams, a senior outfielder on the Wright State softball team, is one of six individuals who appears in the Faces in the Crowd page of the May 5 issue of Sports Illustrated.

Williams (Piqua, OH/Piqua) was recognized for her season performance through April 20, at which time she was leading Division I in RBIs and was second in slugging percentage, third in batting average and tied for fourth in runs per game.

Since then, another edition of the NCAA rankings has come out and Williams appears in nine categories, which includes leading the nation in runs batted in per game at 1.31 (63 in 48 games) and slugging percentage at .925. She is also third in batting average at .479, seventh in on-base percentage at .564, 10th in runs per game at 1.0 (48 total), 18th in triples per game at 0.1 (5), 20th in doubles per game at 0.33 (16), 36th in home runs per game at 0.27 (13) and 92nd in walks per game at 0.56 (27).
