Five Raiders appear in this week's edition of the NCAA Division I softball statistics rankings, through games of May 4.

Senior Jherica Williams (Piqua, OH/Piqua) appears in 12 categories, which includes leading the nation in runs batted in per game at 1.34 (71 in 53 games). She is second in slugging percentage at .950, fifth in batting average at .472, ninth in home runs with 17 and on-base percentage at .562, 10th in home runs per game at 0.32, 11th in runs per game at 1.02 (54 total), 17th in triples with five, 23rd in triples per game at 0.09, 44th in doubles per game at 0.30 (16), 68th in sacrifice flies with three and 84th in walks per game at 0.57 (30).

Sophomore Jamie Perkins (Convoy, OH/Crestview) is ranked in five categories as she is 12th in runs per game at 1.00 (53 in 53 games), 21st in saves with four, 51st in on-base percentage at .484, 78th in batting average at .389 and 84th in walks per game at 0.57 (30).

Sophomore Kristen Bradshaw (Portsmouth, OH/Northwest) appears in four categories as she is seventh in RBI per game at 1.13 (60 in 53 games), 17th in triples with five, 23rd in triples per game at 0.09 and 88th in slugging percentage at .655.

Freshman Justine Shilt (Greenville, OH/Greenville) is 34th in triples with four while sophomore Allison Cox (Chillicothe, OH/Zane Trace) is 68th in sacrifice flies with three.

As a team, the Raiders are fifth in triples per game (0.38), ninth in batting average (.321) and slugging percentage (.523), 10th in scoring (6.06), 13th in home runs per game (1.17), 20th in doubles per game (1.55) and 87th in double plays per game (0.28).

Wright State (29-24 overall, 13-7 Horizon) opens Horizon League Tournament play on Thursday, May 8, as the #3 seeded Raiders take on the winner of #4 Loyola and #9 Detroit at 9 p.m. Eastern at the Loyola Softball Park in Chicago. The double-elimination tournament continues through Saturday, May 10, with the winner receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
