The Wright State volleyball team will open its spring schedule this Saturday, April 5, at the 4th Annual Team Indiana/IUPUI Spring Tournament, which will take place at the Team Indiana Volleyball Complex on the east side of Indianapolis.
WSU will play four matches in the tournament, taking on Cincinnati at 8:30 a.m., Indianapolis at 9:30, Ashland at 11:30 and Missouri-St. Louis at 2:00 p.m.
The tournament features nine Division I schools, including two that qualified for the 2007 NCAA Volleyball Tournament. Along with the Raiders, the Division I field consists of Cincinnati, Eastern Illinois, Indiana State, IPFW, IUPUI, Ohio State, Western Kentucky and Xavier.
This is the fourth year of the IUPUI College Spring Tournament, which has grown from six teams playing in the IUPUI Gymnasium to a 22-team, pooled round-robin format at Team Indiana.
Admission is free to the Team Indiana Volleyball Complex, which is located at 2570 North Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46219. It can be reached on the internet at www.TeamIndianaVolleyball.com. The first matches will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the last matches being played at 3:30 p.m.
