RALEIGH, NC - With the Rams sprinters and field event taking center stage Friday, the WSSU distance runners decided to show what they can do on Saturday on day two of the 2008 Raleigh Relays. The Rams' distance runners notched some great times on the day and closed the two-day event with some solid times.

WSSU senior Kenneth Koech led the way for the Rams with a 56^th place finish in section II of the men's 1500m run. 4:22.83. He left behind runners from Howard, Seton Hall, and Howard to name a few. Also strong in the event was WSSU junior Cory Wright, who finished 64^th in a time of 4:32.26.

Also strong on the day was WSSU junior Jordan Holley, who finished 40^th in the men's 400m hurdles. He completed the event in a time of 57.98. Also finishing strong was WSSU sophomore James Legins, III, who finished 47^th in a time of 59.93.

The Rams will return to action next weekend when the team heads to Durham, NC to take part in the Duke Invitational.
