Lady Rams Looking for Fast Start at Penn Relays

WSSU runners looking for impressive performance at prestigious event

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams will take part in one of the most prestigious meets in the nation when they line up at the 115th Penn Relays, Thursday afternoon. A number of Lady Rams will take part in the event and will compete with a number of athletes from across the country.

 

Both Lady Rams relay teams will be in action, Thursday with the 4x100m relay team taking the track at 1:00 p.m. and the 4x400m relay team taking the track at 5:25 p.m. The Lady Rams 4x200m relay team will line up on Friday.

 

WSSU senior Irene Jeptolo will be the only individual Lady Ram competing on Thursday when she takes part in the women's 3000m steeplechase.
