Saturday's Basketball Doubleheader with Angelo State to be Nationally Webcast

CANYON, Texas - Fans who can't make the trip to San Angelo, Texas, on Saturday will be able to follow all of the exciting West Texas A&M basketball action from Angelo State as both the Lady Buffs and Buffs' games will be nationally webcast.

The games can be seen by logging on to http://www.ncaasports.com/dii. The No. 12 Lady Buffs are scheduled to square off against the Rambelles at 6 p.m. with the Buffs contest against ASU to follow at approximately 8 p.m.

Both WT teams are in the hunt for the 2007-08 Lone Star Conference title, with the Lady Buffs holing a 16-4 overall mark on the season. The squad suffered a 71-66 overtime setback to ACU on Thursday, snapping the team's 29-game winning streak in conference play. Despite the loss, the Lady Buffs still top the LSC South with a 6-1 league mark, but are followed closely by the Rambelles, who hold a 5-2 conference record.

On the men's side, the Buffs improved their overall mark to 15-6 and their league record to 5-1 mark with Thursday's win over ACU, the team's seventh victory in its last eight contests. WT's men rank second in the LSC South standings, trailing only Tarleton State (6-0 LSC-South) and holding a two-game lead on Angelo State, who enters Saturday's affair with a 3-3 records in LSC-South action.
