POTTSBORO, Texas - After the first round of Texas A&M-Commerce's Pepsi Crawford/Wade Invitational, the West Texas A&M men's golf team sits in third place overall as junior Jon Musser and sophomore Geoff Phemister sit in a tie for fourth place.

Also for WT, redshirt freshman Colin Cruz finished the opening round tied for 18th with a 78 while freshman Roy Holdeman finished with an 80 to place him in a tie for 29th. Junior Brandon Holub rounded out the scores for the Buffs with an 84, which puts him in a tie for 57th.

Southeastern Oklahoma leads the field of 17 teams with a team score of 304 while Southwestern Oklahoma is in second place with a team score of 307.

Round two of the tournament begins from Tanglewood Golf Resort in Pottsboro, Texas, tomorrow morning.
