CANYON, Texas - Junior point guard Dixie Bell, a native of Canyon, Texas, will be featured on NCAA On Campus, a show that tells the stories of current student-athletes who also participate in unique activities outside of their sport. The show will air at 11:30 a.m. on ESPN Classic.

In addition to playing basketball, Bell is active in summer rodeo competition circuits, participating in the barrel races, a timed event. In high school, Bell helped Canyon High school win a national title in addition to being a rodeo finalist all four years. On the court, Bell helped the Eagles become two-time State Champions.

Bell returned to Lady Buff basketball this season after taking one year off. She has been a solid point guard for WT, leading the team in assists (69) while also grabbing 62 rebounds (2.7 per game) and 13 steals. Bell is currently averaging 3.8 points per game on 30-of-68 (.441) made baskets from the floor, including 15-of-43 (.349) made three-pointers and 12-of-21 (.571) free throw attempts.
