CANYON, Texas - To accommodate travel plans and in anticipation of inclement weather, the West Texas A&M softball team has moved its scheduled doubleheader against Fort Hays State from Thursday to Sunday afternoon. First pitch for the twin bill is scheduled for noon from Lady Buff Yard, with game two to begin shortly after the opener's conclusion.

The Lady Buffs take the field locally this weekend for the first time on the season when they host the Lady Buff Invitational at Amarillo's Southeast Complex on Friday and Saturday. WT will face off against New Mexico Highlands at 11 a.m. and Southwestern Oklahoma at 3 p.m. on Friday before the tournament enters bracket play on Saturday.
