CANYON, Texas - After opening league play last weekend on the road and picking up a 2-1 record against Texas Woman's, the West Texas A&M softball team opens home Lone Star Conference action by hosting Texas A&M-Kingsville this weekend at the Lady Buff Yard.

WT has won three of its last four games and is looking to keep pace against the Javelinas as Saturday's double header kicks off at Noon. The first two games of the series are sponsored by Kids Inc. and Southwest Dairy Farms; the first 30 fans to arrive at the field will receive a free umbrella.

The third and final game of the weekend series begin at 1:30 p.m. and is also Bucky's Kids Club Day.
