BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Western Washington University men's basketball coach Brad Jackson and his wife, Debbie, became grandparents on Leap Year Day.

Klayton Bradley Jackson was born to Brad's son Kyle and Amy Jackson at 10:44 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital. Klayton Bradley weighed eight pounds, seven ounces and measured 19 inches.

Brad Jackson is in his 23rd season as head coach at Western. He is the school's all-time leader in victories with 422.

Kyle Jackson was a point guard for the Vikings from 2002-06.
