DETROIT - The Wayne State baseball team (12-10, 10-0 GLIAC) maintained its flawless conference record with an 11-3 victory over Hillsdale (7-13, 2-6 GLIAC) in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader at the WSU Baseball Field.

Michael Wiseman (White Lake, Mich./Lakeland) went 2-for-3 including his first career home run - a grand slam in the second inning - while Adam Kaminski (Clinton Twp., Mich./Mt. Clemens) contributed two hits, three RBI and two runs scored.

Wayne State led, 9-0, by the end of the second inning. A four-run first frame highlighted by a two-run triple by Kaminski preceded a five-run second inning in which Wiseman blasted a home run over the center field wall with the bases loaded. An RBI double by Kaminski capped off the inning.

Dan Fodell's two-run homer in the third put the Chargers on the board, but the Warriors answered with two in the fifth as Charlie Dunneback (Lansing, Mich./Grand Ledge) and Drew Churchward (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) each drove in a run.

Dane Little (Windsor, Ont./F.J. Brennan Catholic) improved to 3-2 on the year, surrendering just two runs on five hits over six innings. Brady Cooper (Allen Park, Mich.) gave up a run on two hits in the seventh.

Wayne State and Hillsdale will meet again Sunday in a doubleheader starting at noon.
