DETROIT - Saturday's scheduled baseball doubleheader between Wayne State University and Ashland University has been relocated due to commencement activities taking place on the WSU athletic campus.
Ned Skeldon Stadium, the former home of the Toledo Mud Hens, will serve as the "home" site for the Warriors as they host the Eagles for the first two of a four-game set Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Sunday's games are slated to take place at the WSU Baseball Field at noon as originally scheduled.
Wayne State, ranked 18th nationally and third regionally in the most recent polls, clinched the GLIAC regular season title Wednesday. Ashland, currently in fourth place in the conference, comes into the weekend series ranked 28th in the country and fifth in the region.
