Edwardsville, Ill. - The Wayne State University softball team (3-4 overall) concluded play in the SIU-Edwardsville Cougar Classic with a 4-2 triumph over Missouri-St. Louis (3-6) Sunday morning.
Starting pitcher Molly Yetman tossed a two-hitter for her third win of the season.
Senior catcher Sarah Berry drove in two, while sophomore Stephanie LeClair smacked a two-run home run.
The Warriors will be idle until taking their Spring Break trip next weekend to participate in the Rebel Spring Games. WSU plays Shippensburg and Dowling on Saturday, March 8.
