Wayne State University senior pitcher Molly Yetman (Cambridge, Ont.) has been voted to the Daktronics, Inc. 2008 All-Great Lakes Region First Team for the second consecutive season. Voting included all the softball sports information directors for member schools in the GLIAC, GLVC and WVIAC.
Yetman, a First Team selection a year ago as well, enters the 2008 NCAA tournament with a 26-5 seasonal mark, a 0.83 earned-run average and 244 strikeouts in 185.1 innings.
As a First Team selection, she will be on the ballot for Daktronics, Inc. All-America accolades.
SIUE's Kaitlin Colosimo was chosen as the Great Lakes Region Pitcher of the Year.
