YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Three divers represented Wayne State University at the Youngstown Diving Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Cayce Bolt (Sterling Hts., Mich./Warren Mott) and freshmen Cassie Chetosky (Shelby Twp., Mich./Utica) and Meghan Jaworski (Dundee, Mich.) competed against divers from YSU and Clarion University.
Chetosky placed second in the women's one-meter event (220.30) and third in the three-meter competition (221.85). Jaworski finished eighth on both boards with respective scores of 181.20 and 184.05.
On the men's side, Bolt won both the one-meter (223.15) and three-meter events (243.40) over Clarion divers James Kane and Clayton Bowers.
The Wayne State men's and women's swimming and diving teams will look to defend their consecutive GLIAC championships next week (Feb. 13-16) as Indianapolis hosts the 2008 conference meet.
