Xavier University senior guard Drew Lavender is on one of the six regional issues of Sports Illustrated for this week. The issue is dated March 24, 2008.

Lavender is the first Xavier player ever to be the primary focus on the cover of Sports Illusrated.

Xavier (Drew Lavender), Connecticut (Jeff Adrein), Georgetown (DaJuan Summers), Tennessee (Chris Lofton), Kansas (Brandon Rush) and UCLA (Kevin Love) are all on regional covers.
