Musketeer Senior Josh Duncan Will Play In This Friday's NABC All-Star Game

CINCINNATI - - Xavier University senior Josh Duncan has been selected to play in the 2008 NABC All-Star Game for the nation's top seniors, which will be played at the Alamodome this Friday as part of Final Four Weekend. The game, which will be broadcast nationally on CSTV, will tip off at 5:07 CT. Duncan, who was selected to the five-member 2008 NCAA West Regional All-Tournament Team, led Xavier is scoring this season at 12.4 ppg. and in free-throw shooting at 85.3 percent. Duncan was an Atlantic 10 Conference Second Team selection by the A-10 coaches and the 2008 Atlantic 10 Conference Sixth Man of the Year. Earlier this season, Duncan also a earned spot on the All-Tournament Team for the Chicago Invitational Challenge, helping XU defeat NCAA Tournament bound Kent State and then-No. 8 Indiana for the title. Duncan earned CBS/Chevrolet Game MVP honors for Xavier for all three of Xavier's 2008 NCAA Tournament wins, including after he scored a career-high 26 points in the win over West Virginia in the West Regional Semifinal. Duncan scored a game-high 20 points in Xavier's First Round win over Georgia and scored 16 points in the Second Round win over Purdue. For all four NCAA Tournament games combined, Duncan scored a team-high 18.3 ppg. Duncan, who became a member of XU's 1,000 Point Club in the game against Saint Joseph's at Cintas Center this season, finished his career 26th on XU's all-time scoring list with 1,210 points.
