First Round Results

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. - Senior Brian Keating fired a two-under par 70 on the Panther Lake Course at the Orange County National Golf Center in first round action of the 2008 Atlantic 10 Championship in Winter Garden, Fla.  Xavier shot four-over par 292 and sits in a tie for fourth place, 14 shots behind Rhode Island and Charlotte (Photos Courtesy of Sideline Sports).

Keating is in a tie for sixth place after round one. 

Junior Michael Beausejour got off to a rough start but played the last five holes at two-under par and finished with a one-over par 73.  

Sophomore Kieran Lovelock was four-over par after 12 holes but recovered to shoot a three-over par 75.

Freshman Peter O'Neill shot a two-over par 74 and finds himself in a tie for 20^th.  

XU will look to make up some ground in Saturday's second round on the Panther Lake Course.
