Xavier Women's Basketball Team to Hold Third Annual Swishes For Wishes Game

Saturday's Game Notes

 

CINCINNATI - The Xavier University women's basketball team will make "Swishes for Wishes" Saturday, January 26 at Cintas Center at 6:00 p.m. when the Musketeers take on the UMass Minutewomen.

 

$1.00 from every ticket sold will benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, Southern Ohio region to help make a sick child's wish come true.

 

The evening will be full of fun for all ages. Before the game, the Kroger Kids Zone will feature face painting, cornhole, sign making, basket shooting, and interacting with mascots and cheerleaders. The Sherwood Rappin' Ropes will entertain at halftime. During the game, mini-basketballs, Xavier merchandise and gift certificates will be given away. After the game, join the Musketeers at an autograph session.

 

Tickets are only $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for youth 17 and under.  Groups of 15 or more can get $2.00 off. Groups will be announced on the videoboard and over the public address system if tickets are purchased in advance of game day. For tickets call (513) 745-3411.

 

In addition to the donation made from ticket sales, Xavier University will auction off a luxury suite on www.GOXAVIER.com. All proceeds from the auction will also benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, Southern Ohio region.
