CINCINNATI - Sophomore guard Alesia Barringer will miss at least three weeks after suffering a broken foot.  Barringer fractured her foot in practice and had a successful surgical procedure performed on Tuesday, February 5. 

"We will miss Alesia greatly she had been playing extremely well of late," said head coach Kevin McGuff.  "I know she wants to get back on the court as soon as possible but our first priority is her well being.  Hopefully we will have her back in a few weeks."

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Barringer played in all 22 contests for Xavier this season and earned 16 starting assignments.  She averaged 3.2 points and 2.6 assists in 23.8 minutes per game. 

The Musketeers are back in action on Saturday, February 9 when the team welcomes Temple to Cintas Center.  Game time is set for 6 p.m.
