CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis player Jill Ducro has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday, Feb. 4. This is the second such honor for the sophomore from Cincinnati this year.

Ducro won all four matches over the weekend, including No. 5 singles win in XU's 4-3 upset of No. 74 Eastern Michigan on Feb. 1. She won 6-4, 6-3 against EMU (Feb. 1) and 6-3, 6-2 in her singles match against Toledo on Feb. 2. Ducro is now a perfect 6-0 in singles play this spring and 13-3 overall. She teamed with senior Annie Diedalis in doubles action, winning two matches at No. 3.

Masha Pozar was also named A-10 Player of the Week along with Ducro.

The Musketeers return to action this coming weekend with a trip to Columbia, Mo. On Saturday, Feb. 9, XU will face host Missouri with a scheduled start time of 10 a.m. (9 a.m. CT). Xavier will play Chicago State in a neutral site match Sunday, Feb. 10. First serve is set for 11 a.m. (10 a.m. CT).
