NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale men's cross country team will race this Saturday at the Murray Keatinge Invitational in Orono, Maine, the first time the program has gone to this meet. The men are set to race on the unique 4.97 mile course at 11:00 a.m. against solid competition from the northeast as well as some teams from outside the country.

In the past, the meet has hosted out-of-region powers such as Stanford, Texas Tech and Iowa. While these teams will be absent this year, the Bulldogs will have plenty of quality programs to race against. Confirmed participants for the 16th annual Murray Keatinge Invitational include Dartmouth, New Hampshire, Holy Cross, Central Connecticut and St. Francis Xavier of Nova Scotia, Canada, which will provide the Bulldogs with more than enough competition to test themselves against.

The Bulldogs look to build off a second-place finish at the Quinnipiac Invitational as well as avenge a loss to Harvard in dual-meet competition.

Second team All-Ivy Jake Gallagher leads the charge for Yale this weekend, followed closely by juniors Jared Bell, Murat Kayali and John Hinkle and newcomer Johnny Van Deventer.
