Los Angeles, CA - Yale (3-8) lost to Loyola Marymount (6-9) 4-3 Tuesday in its spring trip finale. The Bulldogs won the doubles point in the loss.
At No. 2 doubles, freshman Stevi Petrelli and junior Janet Kim cruised to an 8-1 victory over Jasmin Heckel and Tina Razloznik. After losing at No. 1 doubles 8-2, the Bulldogs bounced back to claim the doubles point with an 8-6 victory by junior Lilian Nguyen and senior Lindsey Dashiell at No. 3 doubles.
Petrelli picked up a straight set singles victory for the Bulldogs at No. 4 singles. Petrelli defeated opponent Jasmin Heckel 6-2, 6-3.
At No. 2 singles, sophomore Jessica Rhee bounced back after losing the first set to defeat Tamara Tanner in three sets 2-6, 6-4, 6-3.
